Level 5 Learning Support Assistant (Part-Time, Term-Time Only)

An inclusive and supportive educational setting in Stoke-On-Trent is seeking a Level 5 Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a part-time, long-term basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to support a wide age range of pupils, from Reception to Key Stage 4, many of whom have additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide targeted support to pupils across a range of ages and abilities, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.

- Assist in the delivery of personalised learning plans, supporting academic, social, and emotional development.

- Work alongside teachers and other support staff to promote an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

- Support pupils with a range of needs, including SEND, ensuring consistent care and encouragement.

- Contribute to assessments, progress reviews, and classroom organisation as required.

Requirements:

- Level 5 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).

- Experience working across primary and/or secondary age groups.

- Confidence in adapting support for different key stages and learning needs.

- Strong communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach.

- A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
