Pro Education are looking for hardworking, dedicated and passionate Learning Mentors for a fantastic school in Plymouth. This opportunity is a long term temporary role with the potential chance of becoming permanent.
In this role you will be working Monday to Friday 8:15am – 3:30pm. Where you will earn £90-£95 per day.
As a Learning Mentor your day to day responsibilities will include but not limit to:
Working 1:1 with children and young people
Supporting pupils to engage in learning
Taking part in sports, science, creative and outdoor activities
Building positive, trusting relationships
Encouraging personal growth, confidence and resilience
Helping pupils set and achieve their goals
What we’re looking for:
Empathy, patience and a positive attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and adapt
Commitment to supporting young people
Transferable skills from any previous role or life experience
Hold an Enhanced Child Workfoce DBS on the Update Service or be prepared to have one done.
