APT Education is working with a wonderful small village primary school in NN12, near Towcester, who are looking for an experienced and passionate Year 5/6 Teacher to join their close‑knit team from September.

The school is open to offering either a temp‑to‑perm route or a long‑term supply contract, depending on your preference.

About the Role

* Full‑time Year 5/6 Class Teacher

* 24 pupils in class

* Supported by a dedicated classroom Teaching Assistant

* Good behaviour across the school

* Planning required (shared planning available)

Requirements

* QTS required (ECTs also welcome)

* Strong KS2 experience (Year 5/6 desirable)

* Confident with planning, assessment and classroom leadership

* A positive, nurturing and professional approach

* A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
