Assist with classroom activities and promote positive behaviour.

Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Support pupils with a range of abilities, learning styles and additional needs.

Encourage children's independence, confidence and social development.

Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure pupils receive appropriate support.

Essential Requirements

Experience working with children in a school, nursery, children's residential home or a similar setting.

A caring, patient and proactive approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A genuine passion for supporting children's education and wellbeing.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare or an equivalent relevant qualification.

Experience supporting children with additional needs.

We also welcome applicants who are willing and enthusiastic to learn how to support pupils with a range of needs, adapting their approach to help every child succeed.
