Smile Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in the M40 Oldham area who are seeking an experienced Teacher to join their team on a long–term basis from September 2026.

This is a full–time role teaching a Year 3 class. The school is looking for a confident and strong classroom practitioner who can quickly build positive relationships, maintain high expectations and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum.

The successful candidate will:

Have recent experience teaching within KS2Be confident teaching a Year 5/6 classDemonstrate strong behaviour management skillsBe reliable, adaptable and committedWork effectively as part of a wider school teamRequirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Previous UK primary teaching experienceStrong knowledge of the curriculumCompletion of Induction ECT would be an advantagePlease note: this role is not suitable for ECTs due to the level of experience required.
