Teach Now is excited to be recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant for a vibrant and forward-thinking primary school in Newham, London. This is a full-time, temporary position starting on 23 February 2026, perfectly suited to UK-based educators who are passionate about supporting children during a crucial stage of their learning journey.

The Role
As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support pupils across KS2 in class, small groups, and on a 1:1 basis
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and accessible lessons
• Provide targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Help maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment
• Encourage pupils’ academic progress, independence, and confidence
You will be an integral part of the school team, contributing to both learning and wider school life while ensuring pupils feel supported and motivated.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience working in a primary or Key Stage 2 setting
• Is confident supporting pupils with varying abilities, including SEN
• Is patient, adaptable, and proactive
• Has strong communication skills and a genuine passion for education
• Can commit to 8:30am – 3:30pm, term time only
