Contract: Full–time, Term–Time Only

Salary: 85 – 100 per day (depending on experience)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth, just a short walk from Clapham South Station, is seeking a committed Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about early learning and eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners.

As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support teaching and learning across Year 1 and Year 2

Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

Assist pupils with varying needs, including those with SEND and EAL

Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil independence

Provide small group and one–to–one interventions in phonics, reading, and numeracy

The ideal Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant will have:

Previous experience supporting children in KS1 (school or placement–based)

A calm, proactive, and nurturing approach

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A passion for education and child development

A relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)
