About the role
This Intervention Teaching Assistant position is based in a friendly and inclusive primary school in Hackney and is available for an immediate start. The Intervention Teaching Assistant will work with small groups and individual pupils who need extra support with core subjects such as literacy and numeracy. As an Intervention Teaching Assistant, you will help pupils close learning gaps, build confidence, and make steady academic progress.
The Intervention Teaching Assistant will follow planned intervention programmes and work closely with class teachers and the SEN team to track progress. This Intervention Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone patient, organised, and confident supporting pupils with additional needs. The Intervention Teaching Assistant will play a key role in helping pupils access learning in a structured and supportive way.
