Location: Somerset
Job Type: Full-Time Long Term (5 days a week), Day to Day Supply
Pay Rate: £140 - £200 per day
Job Overview:
Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a qualified ICT Teacher for full-time, long-term positions and day-to-day supply work across Somerset. As an ICT Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging lessons covering digital skills, information technology and computing. You will plan and deliver effective lessons, assess student progress and develop students' confidence in using technology. The ideal ICT Teacher will hold a PGCE and QTS or QTLS, and early career teachers are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging ICT Teacher lessons.
* Develop students' digital and information technology skills.
* Encourage safe, responsible and effective use of technology.
* Assess and monitor student progress in ICT.
* Collaborate with ICT Teachers and wider school staff.
Requirements:
* QTS or QTLS certification.
* PGCE or equivalent qualification.
* Passion for teaching ICT and technology.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* Early career teachers are welcome to apply.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.
* Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
