Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Full Time, Temporary
Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your education career? Teach Now is working with a dynamic and inclusive primary school in Hackney to recruit a confident HLTA for a full-time, temporary role starting in March 2026.
This role is ideal for a skilled support professional who enjoys variety, responsibility, and making a meaningful difference across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. Working term time only (8:30am–3:30pm), it offers an excellent balance between professional impact and personal time.

The Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
• Delivering planned lessons and covering classes when required
• Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
• Working closely with class teachers to support pupil progress
• Providing targeted interventions for individuals and small groups
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
