Description

We are looking for a proactive, confident, and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our hospital school team in Southwark and Bromley, supporting children and adolescents with complex mental health needs

This is a full–time position working within a highly specialised and supportive environment, where your work will make a meaningful difference every day.

You will be:

Supporting teaching and learning within the primary classroomAssisting across the wider school, including with adolescent students where necessaryAttending Multi–Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and other school meetingsExpected to manage high levels of administration (training will be provided on hospital systems)Working collaboratively with clinicians, therapists, and teaching staff

A Psychology graduate or someone with a psychology background is highly desirable due to the nature of the setting. Candidates must be calm under pressure, flexible, and passionate about supporting young people s wellbeing and educational outcomes.
