TeacherActive is currently recruiting for Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across a range of welcoming, inclusive primary schools in Bristol. These schools are looking for confident, motivated, and nurturing individuals who can bring flexibility, creativity, and initiative to their classrooms.

Your Role Will Include:

Delivering pre–planned lessons to small groups or whole classes

Supporting pupils academic, emotional, and social development

Working collaboratively with class teachers to plan and adapt learning

Providing targeted interventions for children who need extra support

Creating a positive, inclusive classroom culture where every child can thrive

What We re Looking For:

HLTA qualification

Confidence leading groups or classes independently

Strong understanding of the primary curriculum

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A nurturing, proactive attitude with a genuine passion for education

Enhanced Child–Only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
