The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

HLTA qualification (essential)

Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3 or equivalent)

Experience working in SEMH school settings or with children with additional needs

A genuine passion for supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff

Flexibility, resilience, and a nurturing approach to behaviour managementKey Responsibilities:

Delivering planned lessons and learning activities under the guidance of the teaching team

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to help them reach their potential

Assisting in the planning, preparation, and assessment of learning activities

Promoting a safe, engaging, and supportive environment tailored to SEMH learners

Working collaboratively with teachers, pastoral teams, and external professionalsWhat's On Offer:
