Teacher of Health and Social Care- Manchester

Pay: £ 168- £260 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time, Long-term, temp to perm.

Start: September 2026

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to join a thriving and supportive school community in Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a well-resourced, forward-thinking environment.

As a Teacher of Health and Social Care, you will play a key role in inspiring and engaging pupils through creative and inclusive teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes progress and wellbeing

Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support

Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential

Contribute to school life through involvement in extracurricular activities and initiatives

The ideal Teacher of Health and Social Care will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT with placement experience

Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and child development

Be confident in behaviour management and classroom organisation

Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills to the role

Have a commitment to raising achievement and supporting the wider school community
