Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable General Teaching Assistants to join friendly and supportive primary school in Sefton, Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children and supporting their learning in the classroom.
As a General TA, you will work alongside teachers and support staff to provide help across the curriculum, ensuring pupils are engaged, encouraged, and supported to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning across the classroom.
Provide 1:1 and small group support where required.
Assist with activities in literacy, numeracy, and other subjects.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement.
Help with classroom preparation, organisation, and displays.
Support pupils with additional needs when necessary.
Requirements
Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar setting (desirable but not essential).
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Good communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
A genuine interest in helping children learn and develop.
