The Role

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Food Technology Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4. This full‑time role begins asap and will run until the end of July, with the potential for longer‑term opportunities. You will deliver engaging practical and theory lessons that promote creativity, independence, and essential life skills.

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology, nutrition, and safe food practices

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A proactive, positive, and adaptable approach

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality, engaging Food Technology lessons

Support student progress, practical skill development, and well‑being

Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team

Maintain a safe, well‑managed food preparation environment
