EYFS Teaching Assistant Vacancy

Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant (level 2/ 3)

Salary: £13.25 a day (AWR will be addressed after 12 weeks)

Contract: Temp to Perm

Start date: September

Location: BB1 (Blackburn)

We are recruiting on behalf of a warm and welcoming primary school in Blackburn. The school are proud of their strong sense of community and creative approach to learning. We are currently seeking to appoint EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the team. This is a part- time position with potenital to go full time. All applications must have a EYFS qualificaiton!

Candidates should have experience working with children with SEND and within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Familiarity with phonics would be an advantage and a strong understanding of child development in the Early Years is essential, along with a range of strategies to support learning, including nurturing approaches and positive behaviour management.

The successful candidate must be sensitive to the individual needs of children and able to work effectively as part of a team. Experience in delivering targeted interventions would be beneficial. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and excellent skills in literacy, spoken language, and numeracy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
