Description
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a nurturing and enthusiastic Level 3 qualified EYFS Practitioner to join a welcoming nursery school in South Birmingham. This full-time role will begin after the Easter break and continue throughout the summer term.
The successful candidate will be working within a two-year-old provision, supporting young children at a key stage of their early development through play-based learning and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Support children aged two years old in line with the EYFS framework
Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
Provide personal care, including nappy changing and toileting, while maintaining children's dignity and well being
Observe and record children's progress and development
Work collaboratively with nursery staff and contribute positively to the team
Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (essential)
Previous experience within an EYFS setting, ideally with two-year-olds
Comfortable supporting personal care routines
Good understanding of the EYFS framework
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced xjnqpsq DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Prospero Teaching)
