Exam Invigilator

Description

We are seeking to recruit Exam Invigilators to work with our existing team of bank staff in the running and facilitating of school based examinations for one of our Leigh based Secondary Schools.

This post would be ideally suited to applicants who feel a sense of responsibility for today's young people and who are able to work flexible daytime hours throughout the academic year.

To become an invigilator, you'll need to be able to:

Understand and apply detailed written instructions, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Concentrate and work quickly under pressure, for several hours at a time

Maintain confidentiality

Use initiative in response to unexpected situations

Be aware and committed to equal opportunities and diversity

Be willing to undergo CPD training provided by CER concerning scribing, 1:1 support & what the expectations will be when it comes to adhering to the rules and regulations.Ideal applicants will hold an enhanced DBS and have experience of working in a similar role. If you do not have an enhansed DBS you will need to apply for this before you begin work in a school. Additionally, if you are a university graduate or a student this could provide you with paid employment during and after your studies.
