ESOL Tutor - Halton
The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is looking for passionate ESOL Tutors to support learners across Halton through engaging 1:1 tuition.
Working with individuals whose first language is not English, you'll deliver tailored lessons that develop communication skills, build confidence and help learners progress towards their personal, educational and employment goals.
Position Details
* Location: Halton
* Position: ESOL Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible)
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience delivering ESOL tuition
* CELTA, DELTA, TEFL/TESOL, QTS, PGCE or equivalent (preferred)
* Excellent communication skills
* A supportive and adaptable teaching style
To be eligible, you must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update xjnqpsq Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional references
