Early Years Tutor (Home–Based Support)

Hampshire Area Needed.

We are looking for a nurturing, creative, and experienced Early Years Tutor to provide personalised one–to–one support for young learners in their homes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting early development, building confidence, and creating engaging learning experiences for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Role Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and age–appropriate one–to–one sessions focused on early literacy, numeracy, communication, and social developmentSupport children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) frameworkUse creative, play–based, and interactive teaching approaches to encourage learning and developmentAdapt activities to meet individual learning needs and developmental stagesBuild positive relationships with children and familiesSupport children with additional needs or developmental delays where requiredProvide progress feedback and updates where necessaryDeliver face–to–face sessions within students' homesRequirements

Minimum 2 years' experience working with young children in an educational or childcare settingStrong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child developmentExperience supporting children with additional needs or SEN is desirablePatient, engaging, and able to create a positive learning environmentComfortable working independently in family homesFull UK driving licence and access to transport preferredFlexible availability during school hoursMinimum commitment of 10 hours per weekDesirable QualificationsPGCE, QTS, Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), or relevant childcare qualificationSEN or speech and language support experienceExperience in nursery, reception, or early intervention settingsAdditional
