Description

We are seeking a dedicated professional to mentor and assess individuals undertaking Level 2 to Level 5 apprenticeships and specialist short courses within the childcare sector.

Role Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive mentorship to a diverse group of approximately 45 students across your designated territory.

Conduct a mixture of remote and in-person sessions to guide learners through their specific qualification pathways.

Implement tailored educational strategies to ensure every student achieves their professional development targets.

Utilize digital assessment platforms to monitor progress and maintain accurate records of the learning process.

Deliver a variety of accredited curricula focusing on high standards of early childhood education.

Coordinate your own schedule to meet the needs of both students and their respective employers efficiently.

Essential Requirements

Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification specifically in Early Years or a closely related field.

Demonstrate extensive practical experience working within a professional childcare or nursery setting.

Possess strong digital literacy and proficiency in standard office software for administrative tasks.

Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.

Maintain a valid driving license and the ability to travel across the South East London region.

Willingness to undergo a comprehensive Enhanced DBS check and online background screening.

Desired but not essential: Recognized assessing (CAVA/TAQA) or teaching (AET) certifications.
