Reeson Education is working with a nurturing primary school in the borough of Havering to find a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant. This Early Years Teaching Assistant role is perfect for someone who loves working with young children and supporting their early development across Romford, Hornchurch, Upminster, Rainham, and surrounding areas.

The Role: As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you'll be working with children in EYFS, supporting their learning through play and helping them develop key skills in a warm, encouraging environment. This Early Years Teaching Assistant position involves working alongside teachers to create engaging activities and support children with additional needs including SEN.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting children's learning and development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum

Assisting with planning and delivering creative, play-based activities

Providing care and support for young learners, including those with SEN or developmental delays

Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff

Observing and recording children's progress to inform next steps in learningWhat We're Looking For:

Experience working as an Early Years Teaching Assistant in a school or nursery setting

A warm, patient approach with strong communication skills

Understanding of the EYFS framework and child development

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
