EYFS Teaching Assistant - Level 3 Qualified

Location: Kirklees/Wakefield

Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference in the early stages of a child's education? We are working with a range of welcoming primary schools across Kirklees and Wakefield seeking enthusiastic EYFS professionals to support nursery and reception classes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in children's early development, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally within a nurturing and stimulating environment.

The Role:

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework

Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs

Encourage social skills, independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

Assist with observations, assessments, and recording progress

Work collaboratively with teachers and EYFS staff to deliver high-quality provision

Support children's wellbeing and ensure safeguarding procedures are followedRequirements:

Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)

Experience working within an EYFS, nursery, or school setting

A strong understanding of the EYFS framework

A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
