Early Years Teaching Assistant – Full-Time | Primary School | Bispham

Location: Bispham

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Term-Time Only)

Start Date: September 2025

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Bispham is looking for a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Reception class team this September. If you’re passionate about supporting young children in a school setting and helping them build strong foundations for learning, this role could be ideal for you.

Role Overview:

You’ll be part of a supportive EYFS team, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences. Your role will be key in helping children develop socially, emotionally, and academically during their early school years.

Responsibilities:

Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS curriculum

Help plan and deliver creative and age-appropriate activities

Maintain a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment

Observe and record children’s progress to inform planning and assessments

Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support individual needs

What We’re Looking For:

A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (e.g. CACHE Level 3 Diploma or equivalent)

Experience working in a school-based EYFS setting

Good understanding of child development and safeguarding procedures

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A nurturing, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
