Education Matters is currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Bethnal Green on an ASAP start.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children and helping them develop the skills they need for a successful start to their education. You ll be joining a nurturing and inclusive school environment where children s learning, development and wellbeing are at the heart of everything they do.

The Role As a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, age–appropriate learning activities. Support children across the Reception classroom with their learning and development. Provide targeted one–to–one and small–group support where required. Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment. Support children s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development through play and structured activities. Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour. Observe and monitor children s progress and provide feedback to the class teacher. Support classroom routines and assist with preparing learning resources. Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues. Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and behaviour management. The Ideal Candidate To be considered, you will have:

A Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent. Previous experience working within a UK Early Years or Reception setting. A sound understanding of the EYFS Framework. Experience supporting children with their learning and development. A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. The ability to work effectively as part of a classroom team. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
