Are you an experienced DT Technician looking for a new opportunity within a secondary school?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a secondary school in Wirral who are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic DT Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical experience in a school, workshop or similar environment who enjoys supporting students and staff within a Design & Technology setting.

The Role:

Preparing materials, tools and equipment for practical lessonsSupporting teachers and students during DT lessonsMaintaining a safe, organised and well–equipped workshopEnsuring tools and equipment are maintained and stored correctlyAssisting with stock control and ordering materialsSupporting with the preparation and clearing away of practical activitiesEnsuring health and safety procedures are followed at all timesThe Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience within a DT, workshop or practical environmentGood knowledge of workshop tools, equipment and materialsStrong understanding of health and safetyOrganised, reliable and proactiveConfident working alongside both teachers and studentsPrevious school experience is desirable but not essentialInterested?
