Deputy Room Leader

Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Room Leader to join a welcoming and well-established nursery in Barnet.

This is a full-time position within a nurturing, year-round nursery environment that is committed to delivering high-quality early years education and care.

Salary: £30,000+ (depending on qualifications and experience).

You will be:

Supporting the Room Leader in the day-to-day running of the classroom

Working collaboratively with a team of practitioners to deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences

*

Helping to plan and support activities in line with the EYFS framework

*

Supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe and stimulating environment

*

Playing a key role in maintaining high standards of care, routine, and classroom organisation

We are looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, and passionate about early years education. The successful candidate will hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification and have at least 1 year of recent Day Nursery experience. Previous experience supporting room leadership is desirable.

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week over 5 days), working a weekly rotating shift pattern:

7:30am – 4:30pm

9:30am – 6:30pm

The nursery is open all year round, excluding Bank Holidays and 2 weeks over Christmas.
