Salary: £100 - £120 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with secondary schools across the Shifnal and Much Wenlock areas who are looking for confident, enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors. The schools are committed to creating positive and supportive learning environments, with staff working together to maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and pupil progress.

We are looking for Cover Supervisors for temporary part-time and full-time roles with an ASAP start, offering flexibility for candidates looking to build their experience within secondary education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absence, deliver pre-prepared work across a range of subjects, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and supported throughout their lessons.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils or young people is desirable

Confidence supervising classes across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills with the ability to establish clear expectations

Excellent communication and organisational skills when working with pupils and school staff

The ability to confidently follow lesson plans and instructions left by teaching staff

A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach with a genuine interest in supporting young people's education
