Pay Rate: £95 - £120 per day

Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor for full-time, long-term positions and day-to-day supply work across Somerset. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of their usual teacher, ensuring students remain engaged with their work and maintain positive behaviour. You will provide classroom supervision, follow lesson plans and support a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher.

* Deliver and oversee pre-prepared lesson activities.

* Maintain positive behaviour and classroom standards.

* Support students with their learning where appropriate.

* Liaise with teaching staff and wider school teams.

Requirements:

* Experience working with children or young people is desirable.

* Strong classroom management and communication skills.

* Confident and professional approach to supervising classes.

* Ability to follow lesson plans and school procedures.

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.

* Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
