TeacherActive is working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across Derby that are seeking confident and motivated Cover Supervisors for September starts. These schools offer welcoming environments, supportive leadership teams, and excellent opportunities for individuals looking to develop their experience within education.

We are recruiting a Cover Supervisor to provide classroom cover across a range of secondary schools in Derby. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise lessons using pre-planned work, maintain positive behaviour, and ensure students remain focused and engaged throughout the school day. This Cover Supervisor role offers flexible day-to-day assignments with the potential to progress into a long-term opportunity. The ideal Cover Supervisor will be adaptable, professional, and confident building positive relationships with both students and staff.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• At least 6 months' experience working within a UK education setting

• Experience supporting students within a secondary school environment

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Confidence delivering pre-set work across a range of subjects

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
