Cover Supervisor - Supply Basis (Secondary Schools)

Location: Southwark, London

Pay: £100-£150 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Supply / Flexible Work

We are seeking reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to work on a supply basis across secondary schools in Southwark. This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible work within education while gaining valuable classroom experience.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher

Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain on task

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Provide a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment

Candidate Profile

Experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable

Knowledge of behaviour management strategies is preferred

Drama graduates are strongly encouraged to apply, as well as candidates from performance or youth engagement backgrounds

Confident communication and classroom presence

Professional, adaptable, and dependable

Requirements

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

Right to work in the UK

Availability to work on a flexible, supply basis
