Cover Supervisor – Bradford

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only

Salary: £90 - £120 per day

About the School

The Role

We are seeking a confident, adaptable, and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and engaged with their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise lessons and ensure students complete the work set by the absent teacher.

* Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

* Support pupils in understanding and following the set tasks.

* Collect completed work and provide feedback to the appropriate teaching staff.

* Assist with administrative or pastoral duties when cover is not required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

* Confident and enthusiastic about working with young people.

* Able to build positive relationships with students and manage behaviour effectively.

* Highly organised and adaptable, with a calm and professional manner.

* Ideally experienced in working within a school or educational environment (though training will be provided).

* Educated to at least GCSE Level (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

* Interested in developing a career in education – this role offers valuable classroom experience for aspiring teachers.
