Location: Sherburn in Elmet, North Yorkshire

Contract Type: Part-Time – Term Time Only

Salary: £100 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)

Start Date: ASAP

The Education Network are seeking a confident and proactive Cover Supervisor to join a thriving secondary school in Sherburn in Elmet. This role is ideal for a Cover Supervisor who is passionate about education and looking to gain classroom experience. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students during teacher absences, delivering pre-set lesson plans, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4

Deliver lesson plans provided by teaching staff

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Provide feedback to teachers on student progress

Support students with their learning and engagement

What We’re Looking For:

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Good subject knowledge across a range of secondary subjects

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Previous experience working with young people (desirable)

A calm, patient, and resilient approach
