Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full-time, part-time, and flexible day-to-day opportunities available

Pay Rate: £100 to £130 per day dependent on experience

We are seeking adaptable and confident Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of secondary schools in the Wigan area from September 2025. Whether you're seeking a full-time role, part-time hours, or ad-hoc cover work, we can offer opportunities to suit your schedule.

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across Key Stages 3 and 4

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Support students with their learning and maintain a positive environment

Ensure lessons run smoothly in the teacher's absence

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will have the flexibility to work in different schools, gaining valuable experience and adapting to a range of classroom environments. This is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education support staff looking for flexible working arrangements.

Requirements:

Experience working with young people (school, youth work, tutoring, sports coaching etc.)

Confident communication and organisational skills

Ability to manage a classroom independently

Valid enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one

An enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one
