Step into Education and Inspire Young Minds!

Are you an enthusiastic, organised individual with the confidence to lead a classroom and the ability to inspire young learners? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to join an outstanding coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Bushey, Hertfordshire.

About the School:

This highly regarded academy prides itself on providing an exceptional learning environment, where every student is encouraged and supported to reach their full potential. With dedicated staff, exceptional facilities, and a vibrant, inclusive community, our school is a place where both students and staff thrive.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be playing an essential role in maintaining continuity and high standards of learning when teachers are absent. You’ll supervise Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 classes, ensuring students stay on task, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and create a positive learning environment.

This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience and those with a passion for education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, confident, and adaptable

• Has excellent communication and classroom-management skills

• Can build positive relationships with both students and staff

• Is comfortable supervising classes across different age groups, including SEN students

• Can maintain a calm, supportive, and engaging atmosphere for learners

What We Offer:

• Competitive daily rate (£100-£130 per day)

• A supportive, collaborative staff environment

• Valuable experience for aspiring teachers or educators

• Opportunities for professional development

If you’re passionate about education, enjoy working with young people, and want a rewarding role within a supportive and inspiring school community, we’d love to hear from you!
