Job Title: Cleaning Tutor / Trainer (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: York - Centre based

Salary: up to £34,000

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Criteria:

Hold, or be willing to achieve the BICS certificate.

Must hold solid occupational competency within Industrial Cleaning.

Hold own Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent.

Willingness to work towards PTLLS/AET - fully funded and supported by employer

Ideally have experience of delivering training/workshops to groups of learners

Must be IT Literate.

Duties include:

Deliver Cleaning training in-line with the BiCs framework, with additional focus on health and safety, compliance and COSHH regulations.

Induct learners in to the Cleaning Academy, providing them with training across policies, equipment usage and emergency procedures.

Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours

Embedding of Maths and English into sessions, emphasising the importance of reading and literacy.

Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.

Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
