Salary: (£24,840 – £29,960 actual salary, depending on experience) or PAYE Day Rate Equivalent

We’re supporting a secondary school seeking a confident, organised individual to step into short-term teacher absences and keep learning on track. No planning required just great classroom presence, clear instruction, and the ability to hold attention.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects at secondary level

Keep students on task and engaged in their learning

Maintain a safe, respectful and focused classroom environment

Step in and adapt to different classrooms and groups throughout the week

Promote the inclusion of all pupils and support a culture of equality and participation

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience working with young people (ideally in a school or youth setting)

Can establish strong routines and set clear expectations

Is confident leading a class and managing behaviour positively

Can communicate clearly and calmly under pressure

Is proactive, reliable, and happy to work flexibly across the curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
