Description
Principal Education are currently recruiting an experienced and inspiring Business Teacher to join a successful Secondary School in London on a maternity cover basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator looking to make a positive impact while ensuring continuity for students during the maternity leave period.
Role Overview The successful candidate will teach Business Studies across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 delivery depending on experience. You will be responsible for delivering planned lessons, maintaining strong classroom management, and supporting pupils academic progress throughout the fixed–term contract.
Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and well–structured Business lessons set by the department.
Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
Contribute to departmental planning and support the school throughout the cover period.
Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies.
Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
Ability to motivate learners and build positive relationships.
A current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
