Job Title: Behaviour Support

Location: Rotherham, S61

Pay Rate: £95 – £130 per day (depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Full-time / Part-time

Are you passionate about helping young people overcome challenges and succeed both emotionally and academically?

GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Support professional to join schools in Rotherham (S61) immediately. This role is ideal for individuals committed to supporting pupils with behavioural, social, or emotional needs and fostering a positive learning environment.

As a Behaviour Support, you will work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to deliver tailored support and promote positive outcomes for students.

Responsibilities as Behaviour Support:

Provide one-to-one or small group behavioural support tailored to individual pupil needs.

Assist in implementing behaviour management plans and intervention strategies.

Build trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and positive behaviour.

Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to monitor progress and adapt support.

Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students.

Requirements for Behaviour Support:

Experience working with children or young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) or behavioural needs.

Calm, patient, and resilient approach to managing challenging behaviour.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.

A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
