Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant – Stratford, East London – September Start – 100– 117 per day
Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a strong and reliable Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to work within a school based in the Stratford area of East London from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, SEMH, SEN or additional needs. The school are looking for a confident support assistant who can provide structure, encouragement and positive guidance throughout the school day.
The Role:
Supporting pupils with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagementWorking 1:1 and with small groups of pupilsHelping pupils remain focused and involved in classroom learningSupporting behaviour plans and school routinesUsing calm and consistent de–escalation strategiesWorking alongside teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staffEncouraging positive choices, confidence and independenceThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience in behaviour support, SEN, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching or careBe confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviourHave a calm, firm and professional approachBe reliable, proactive and able to build strong relationshipsBe confident working in a busy school environmentBe available from SeptemberThe Role Offers:
