Description

Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant – KS2

Full Time | August 2026 – July 2027

Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to work with a small group of Key Stage 2 pupils within a welcoming and inclusive primary school setting in Leicester.

This rewarding role is ideal for someone with strong behaviour management skills, a calm and consistent approach, and experience supporting pupils who may require additional behavioural, emotional or learning support. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, build positive relationships and develop confidence within the classroom environment.

The successful candidate will:

* Have previous experience supporting pupils with behavioural needs within a primary setting

* Demonstrate strong behaviour management strategies and the ability to build positive relationships

* Have good knowledge and understanding of the KS2 curriculum

* Be confident supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom

* Work effectively alongside teachers, SEND staff and external professionals

* Be patient, proactive and adaptable to the needs of individual pupils

* Promote a positive, xjnqpsq inclusive and safe learning environment
