The School and Role

Vision for Education are seeking a calm, confident, and resilient Behaviour Mentor in Northumberland to support students in managing their emotions and behaviour. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to create a positive, structured learning environment. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and thrive in school. You ll provide one–to–one and small group support, helping students develop self–regulation, social skills, and confidence. This role is ideal for someone patient, proactive, and committed to making a lasting impact.

Requirements

The desired Behaviour Mentor will have:

Experience of working with secondary and primary school aged children in schools.Experience of working with pupils with SEND.A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils.An ability to work as part of a team.An ability to build rapport quickly with studentsKey qualities such as: Patience, Sympathetic, Strong–willedDBS on the Update Service What we offer
