Description

Do you have a keen interest in education and supporting children and young adults?

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic and reliable teaching assistant to work at one of our mainstream secondary schools in Solihull (B92)!

Start Date: September

Rate of Pay: £90-95 per day

The role outlined:

You will be required to work in collaboration with the classroom teacher to support individual children and small groups of children within the class- supporting their academic and personal challenges. You will provide a guidance that can be tailored to the individuals requirements.

You will remain committed to safeguarding at all times and will escalate any concerns in line with the schools policies in a prompt and professional manner.

As well as this, you will help prepare classroom resources and provide relevant administrative support, being organised is an essential element to being successful in this role.

If you have :

- had experience in a teaching assistant/supporting role within schools or education settings

- a genuine passion and interest in working within secondary schools

- experience supporting children with special educational needs

- any relevant teaching assistant, SEN qualifications and/or training

- a free diary and can commit to both flexible and full time hours

- previous experience working as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
