Autism Support Worker – St Albans
Location: St Albans
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time / Part-time (flexible options)
Salary: From £85 per day

Schools and care settings in St Albans are seeking Autism Support Workers to join their supportive, friendly teams. What you’ll be doing:
Supporting children and young people with autism across the school day or care setting
Helping develop communication, social, and independence skills
Implementing personalised learning and behaviour support plans
Encouraging confidence, emotional regulation, and social interaction
Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Supporting daily routines to ensure a safe and nurturing environment
What we’re looking for:
Experience supporting children or young people with autism, SEN, or additional needs
Understanding of behaviour strategies and personalised support plans
Positive, patient, and proactive approach xjnqpsq
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
Driver’s license preferable
