Are you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant ready to make a real impact? We're looking for Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism across primary schools in Bridgwater. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a caring and committed team, helping children thrive both academically and emotionally.

What You'll Be Doing:

Providing tailored support to pupils with autism, helping them access learning in a meaningful way.

Working closely with teachers and support staff to create and deliver individualised learning plans.

Supporting pupils' social and emotional development through mentoring and positive reinforcement.

Managing and responding to challenging behaviour with empathy, consistency, and professionalism.

Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care and support. What We're Looking For:

Strong experience working with children with autism or similar SEN needs.

Confidence in handling challenging behaviour in a calm and supportive manner.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A nurturing, proactive approach to mentoring and support.
