Description
Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced school attendance officer to work at a local secondary academy within the Salford area.
The role is due to begin after half-term and will continue on a full-time, long-term basis until the summer.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
* Help to design, implement and review strategies to improve attendance.
* Re-engage pupils with education, and provide effective support to families facing barriers to regular school attendance.
* This will include maintaining accurate attendance records, identifying and reporting concerns, and working collaboratively with pupils, families, school staff and external agencies to secure positive outcomes.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Be ambitious and strive to continually make improvements to systems and processes. xjnqpsq
* Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
