Chichester College Group have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an Assistant Librarian at our Chichester College campus. You will join us on a full time, permenant basis and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of GBP24,791 – GBP25,935 per annum.

The Assistant Librarian role:
Chichester College is seeking a full–time Assistant Librarian to join our welcoming and dedicated library team. Based at our campus in the heart of Chichester, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining the Library Management System (LMS), ensuring it operates efficiently to support the delivery of high–quality library services across the college.
Key Responsibilities of our Assistant Librarian:
Managing the Library Management System and maintain and update the Library course on the College VLE. Producing statistics on the use of CCG Libraries online resources. Developing and promoting the stock and services of the Library through liaison with curriculum staff in designated areas across the campus. Providing front line customer service on the Enquiry and Circulation Desks. Assisting in the development, promotion and delivery of induction and information skills programmes both face–to–face and through electronic means. Supporting the development and promotion of electronic learning resources; including writing and delivering tutorials and writing information guides. Performing other professional duties, including stock acquisition and maintenance, as required. Helping provide cover to other Libraries within the College Group as required. Our ideal Assistant Librarian should have the below skills and experience:
Education to degree level Working within a customer focussed library environment Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including a working knowledge of databases and websites Time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively A commitment to providing a high standard of service to internal and external customers Our Staff Benefits:
