Description
With new AI tools such as ChatGPT and paraphrasing software plagiarism within academic settings is becoming harder and harder to identify and is therefore creating new job opportunities.
We are recruiting for a AI specialist to take responsibility for ensuring integrity within a training and academic setting.
In this role you will work closely with the training and assessment team to investigate any misconduct in delegate assessments.
Using a human approach you will:
* Investigate into any suspected misconduct cases which may include plagiarism and inappropriate use of AI tools
* Using a number of specific tools you will use a human approach to research into any misconduct/misuse of such tools in relation to compliance and learning objectives
* Gather and document your findings and deliver reports to academic leads and stakeholders and prepare formal investigations
* Work with the training team to provide e-learning guide for prevention and training needs
* Support students/delegates on a one-on-one basis to understand their misuse
* Work with the department to monitor trends and future proof risks
To succeed in this position you will need to have a good understanding of academic integrity, a high level of digital literacy and be familiar with AI and plagiarism detection tools.
Previous experience within an education or training setting would also be a huge advantage.
You will also be expected to travel from time to time so it is essential that you have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
