Position: School Administrative Assistant

Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £100 - £115 per day

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:30am-4pm)

About Us:

We are a seeking a dedicated and friendly admin assistant to join one of our lovely primary schools in Brent, London. The school is committed to providing a high-quality education to their students and pride themselves on fostering a warm, inclusive environment where both students and staff can thrive. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a highly motivated and organised School Administrative Assistant to join their team.

The Role:

As a School Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the school office and providing administrative support to staff, students, and parents. Your responsibilities will include managing the school’s communications, maintaining records, assisting with enrolment processes, and providing general office support.

Key Responsibilities:

* Answering phone calls and responding to emails in a professional manner.

* Greeting visitors, parents, and students.

* Managing student records, including attendance and medical information.

* Assisting with school events, trips, and parent communication.

* Handling confidential information with discretion.

* Supporting the school leadership team with administrative tasks.

* Assisting with school admissions and maintaining pupil databases.

* General office duties, including filing, photocopying, and record-keeping.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Knowledge and experience of school systems such as SIMS and Arbor (essential)

* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Previous experience in a school or administrative role is desirable.

* A friendly, approachable manner and a positive attitude.

* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

* An enhanced DBS on the update service
